The Foam Runner Black is a May 2021 colorway of the innovative slip-on shoe designed by Kanye West. The Foam RNNR (Runner) debuted in Summer 2020 and is a hybrid between a traditional slip-on sandal and shoe. A combination of lightweight EVA foam and harvested algae comprises the construction of the evolutionary piece of footwear. A progressive slip-on, the Foam Runner ‘Black’ emerges with a monochromatic look. Built with foam, the shoe’s Black upper includes ventilation ports throughout, allowing for breathability and less weight. A raised heel promotes a more natural stride, while underfoot, the outsole sports a wavy pattern for traction, also revealing the only branding via an logo.
